Tom Johanson was General Secretary of the Spiritualist Association of Great Britain (SAGB) for many years. He was also publishing an own newspaper: the Spiritualist Gazette, and producing a film about modern spiritualism.

Coral Polge-Johanson was working regularly there for a great part of her lifetime as a medium and psychic artist. However, that was many years ago, and the SAGB today seems to be worlds apart from the SAGB in Tom's time.

Coral's favorite place of teaching and spiritual work was the Arthur Findlay College of Psychic Studies, a highly regarded place for mediums, clairvoyants and psychic artists. This is also the place where her ashes are resting - in a beautiful garden dedicated to her close friend Gordon Higginson.
